Just what we needed

 It has rained all day in Cheshire, CT.

Really, from 8:30 a.m. until now, just after 7 p.m.

Occasionally hard and sometimes barely, but mostly steady and slow.

Just what we needed.

I put off going to the store because of the rain, but during a lull, I went.

Lucky for me, I took an umbrella, because when I came out with my groceries, it had turned into a steady rain.

Just what the environment needed.

Even the birds are excited since worms are coming up out of the soaked ground.

A great day.
