Looking back on Mother's Day

 Bern heard from both our kids--Josh sent flowers.

I gave her a card and candy she must have loved because she didn't offer me any.

I spent time remembering my mother.

She died when I was in college.

My memories of her have faded--as memories do.

But I still miss her and regret she never met my wife and her grand-children.

Some days cause more pain that others....
