Palm Sunday

We met the Congregational Church on the road in front of Trinity.

It was suppose to be on the Green across the road, but there were a few inches of snow there.

We blessed the palms and went our seperate ways.

Palm Sunday for Episcopalians includes a lenghty reading of the Passion, this year from Luke. People take parts and it is really nice, though long.

Then I say communion, but don't break the bread.

After that comes Prayers of the People, Confession, Absolution and the Passing of the peace.

Then Offering is taken and I finally break the bread for communion.

Whew! Hard to do it that way. I had to keep looking at the bulletin to make sure I was where I should be.

And today was the second "Undey Sunday" which I can't spell and when people bring underwear to give to the homeless.

Trinity does good things for those in need--quite a lot for such a little church.

Bless them....

About Me

some ponderings by an aging white man who is an Episcopal priest in Connecticut. Now retired but still working and still wondering what it all means...all of it.
