Still Positive

I tested again today and am still positive for Covid. Bern called our doctor and she recommended a nose spray and cough medicine, both of which Bern went out and got.

Bless her.

But I feel fine, so don't worry about me.

Great news today on several fronts.

Warlock won in Georgia!!!

The Yankees signed Aaron Judge to the end of his career!!!

It was warmer than usual for December.

Britney Grinder in coming home!!!

More classified documents found on the former president's property!!!

Not a bad day, Covid or not....

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty!

The former President's company was found guilty by a New York jury on all charges brought by the District Attorney for falsifying income tax data.

It could cost him $1.5 million dollars.

We'll see when the judge rules.

No jail time is involved, except for some of his top people.

But Special Prosecutor Smith and the courts in Georgia are still going on.

Plus, the January 6th committee is going to send criminal referrals to the Department of Justice.

The wheels are rolling.

And though he wants to 'cancel' provisions of the Constitution, he can't.

The script is getting better and better.

Things are going on that could, indeed, jail the former President.

Here's hoping.

And also hoping, for my father's memory, a life-long Republican, that the party he loves will come to their senses.

Always hoping.

Kindness

A friend who reads my blog called today. She wanted to know if she could go to the grocery store for us.

I told her I'd let her know if she needed to.

We'll test again tomorrow, but who knows how long the positives come back?

That was very kind of my friend.

There's not enough kindness to go around in our world today.

Racism, anti-Semitism, anti-LBGTQ actions, and just the political divides in our nation today are rending us apart.

Kindness can cancel all that.

My friend and I agree about most things.

But we should show 'kindness' to people who disagree with us as often as we can.

Kindness can calm to storm and stop the rising tide.

Kindness can make the world go round in a better way.

Be kind, my readers and friends.

Spread kindness in your wake.

It will matter greatly.

no symptoms

I tested positive for Covid-19 three days ago, but to this point I have no symptoms.

Bern had head-aches, loss of apatite, body pain.

But nothing for me yet.

Mimi said there was an asymptomatic form of the disease.

I hope that's true for me.

Bern should test negative tomorrow.

Just in time.

One of us goes to the supermarket every day so we're running out of food!

That would not be good!

I've got my fingers crossed that the symptoms stay away....

Jail Him Up! Jail Him Up!

To use a variation of the former President's call about Hillary, things are looking bad for him right now.

In New York, Washington and Georgia, he could be facing trials that would lead to--yes, Jail.

And it's time.

He has created tax fraud, stolen classified documents and tried to interfere with an election.

And in the last day he has suggested over-ruling the Constitution to reinstate him as President.

It's time, my friends, to Jail Him Up!

Let me know if you disagree.

I join Bern

I tested 'positive' for Covid today. Joining Bern.

I feel ok, just too chilly and tired and without much appetite.

Bern's several days ahead of me.

Luckily I won't be going to church again until Dec. 18. That should be enough time to recover and not be a spreader.

Keep us both and Eleanor in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you.

Be safe, my friends.

Time moves on

As of today, I am still negative for Covid.

Bern coughs a lot but feels better than yesterday.

And time moves on.

Hershel Walker, just like Dr. Oz, was criticized for not really living in the state where he is running for Senate.

When will Republicans regain their sanity?

And time moves on.

It rained hard and long today in CT.

We are saturated to the bone.

And time moves on.

Hopefully the rail strike can be avoided by acts on Congress.

Though I am a big supporter of unions.

And time moves on.

I will miss church this Sunday and next because of precautions about the virus.

And I will miss being there and the folks there and the music there.

But time moves on....
