Ok, I've had an itch all day in the very center of my back, exactly where I can't touch and therefore can't scratch.
I'm sure it's dry skin from the cold. I'll just put some moisturizer on it--oh, wait, I can't touch that part of my back!
I've used a spatula, doorways, my chair, even a butcher knife (not my best idea...) to try to scratch my itch.
Maybe I could take off my sweater and two shirts, smear moisturizer on the door way and go at it....

- Under The Castor Oil Tree
- some ponderings by an aging white man who is an Episcopal priest in Connecticut. Now retired but still working and still wondering what it all means...all of it.
