Did you know all this? I didn't.

A friend of ours--I think it was John--gave us some beautiful kitchen towels that outlined what to call a group of several animals.

It goes like this.

A LEAP of Salmon.

A SKULK of Foxes.

A PLUMP of Seals.

A MURDER of Crows.

A CROWN of Kingfishers.

A PRICKLE of Hedgehogs.

A PARLIAMENT  of Owls.

A BOUQUET of Pheasants.

A PADDLING of Ducks.

A LEASH of Deer.

A CIRCUS of Puffins.

A ROMP of Otters.

A SQUABBLE of Seagulls.

A CETE of Badgers.

A TRIP of Hares.

I knew a few...but not the rest.

How many of those did you know?

About Me

some ponderings by an aging white man who is an Episcopal priest in Connecticut. Now retired but still working and still wondering what it all means...all of it.
