Joe, Aaron, Republicans and Kentucky

Joe Manchin came around to support the environment in a turn-around.

I had written him off as a Dino (Democrat in name only) but he's surprised me on this.

Aaron Judge is not a surprise.

He hit a solo homer last night in the bottom of the ninth to give the Yankees a 1-0 win! Yea, Aaron!

How could Republicans block a bill to give health benefits to service men and women who were opposed to toxic chemicals at Camp Lejune?

If you can't support those who serve us in the armed forces, who can you support?

It's clear many Republicans are against women's health choices, minorities and gays. But why those who served us in war and peace?

Baffles me.

A good friend of mine posted on Facebook that Biden should have withheld disaster money from Kentucky until they cancelled their restrictive abortion bill.

And interesting idea, but I don't agree.

When any American is hit with hundred year floods, they deserve to be helped no matter what their politics.

And being a native born Appalachian, I grieve for Kentucky. Like West Virginia, they need all the help they can get, in many ways.
