After several days that seemed more like Labor Day than Autumn, moving toward winter, we've had several days of chill and rain.

Chill and rain are a metaphor for what's going on in the nation.

The lame-duck president has yet to acknowledge the president-elect Biden. And most republicans are lock step with him.

A few--give them credit--have congratulated Biden, along with most world leaders who aren't autocrats.

No court case has not been thrown out.

Republicans in the close states have said nothing will change.

It's 10 days since the election and only silence about the outcome from the lame-duck president and his allies.

Lordy, lordy, the weirdness of the last four years is still around.
