 My father never voted for a Democrat. He was a rock solid Republican. We lived in West Virginia, a state that was solid Blue back then.

How far we've come.

West Virginia is now a center of Trump-ism.

West Virginia gave the lame duck president 67.8% of it's votes. He won all 55 counties.

My father would not recognize the Republican party of today.

He would be astonished at how far the party has come into an era of lies, mis-information and voter suppression.

Dwight Eisenhower, who like my father, served in WW II, is rolling in his grave.

So is my father.
