Big snow on the way tonight and tomorrow--so they say. They're probably right, having gotten weather science down a lot better than it was back in the 70's.
Back in 76 or 77, Governor Jay Rockefellow of West Virginia told us all 3 feet of snow was coming.
I remember going to the grocery store and finding no bottled water, no bread, very little anything.
The storm 'jumped' WV altogether. We all felt like fools.
So the next year snow--big snow--was forecast and we paid no attention and got the three feet that kept us in our house for 3 days until I walked/slid/fell to the 7/11 as the bottom of the hill where Hazelwood Avenue was to get food....
We'll see what tomorrow brings.
I'm betting they got it right.

About Me
- Under The Castor Oil Tree
- some ponderings by an aging white man who is an Episcopal priest in Connecticut. Now retired but still working and still wondering what it all means...all of it.
