The aftermath

Today has been full of the aftermath of yesterday's storming of the Capitol by mobs of supporters of the President.

Many have called for the 25th amendment to oust him from office--or a quick impeachment.

Finally, a day after the chaos, the President condemned it, though the day before he told the insurrectionists that 'he loved them'.

The stories coming out are amazing in how graphic they are about what people inside the Capitol experienced.

The next President--Joe Biden--approved in the wee hours by the joint House and Senate--gave words of wisdom and calm and healing, while condemning the current President's words and actions.

It is still a sad time for democracy and our nation.

Pray that better times are coming, beloved.
